Name: Jacob
Age Group: Adult (Just recently became an adult)
Gender: Male
Clan: Undecided
Herd: None
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: None
Species: Red Fox
Physical Description: Jacob is a beautiful red, red fox. He his long, bushy tail has a few black hairs spread out, and there are a few more around his tail. His chest and stomach are pure white. His feet and lower legs are dipped in black, as are most of his ears. His eyes appear to be a dark brown, but, when in the sunlight, they turn golden. He is lean and speedy, but very clumsy. A dull red leather collar adorns his neck.
Personality: Jacob is playful and hyper, but clumsy. He has no idea how to hunt or survive in the wild, as a result of being raised by humans ever since he was little. He's terrified of night and of all other animals. He has never seen another animal, except for the dogs and cats that walked by the window at his old home, the few animals he saw in the forest, and the wolf he saw the night of his arrival. He has no idea where he is at, and doesn't seem to know anything about anything, except humans. On that subject, Jacob knows quite a bit.
Jacob is kind to all, as soon as he realizes he doesn't need to be afraid of them. He's friendly and playful, but inside he's upset, scared, and confused. He knows his family is not coming back for him, and he doesn't know what to do now. He longs to have a good friend.
History: Jacob was once a house pet. He belonged to a couple and their teenager. He was fairly happy, though he wasn't played with as often as he liked, so, he learned to play by himself. His life wasn't perfect, and it could become very dull, but it wasn't terrible either. There was always food to eat, though it was just a bland, dry kibble (and a cheap one at that. For his birthday, they would buy a more expensive brand, and it tasted much better, plus it gave him more energy.) There was always shelter, and often he got to sleep in the human's warm, soft beds.
One day, the only family he had ever known put him in a large box and left him on the side of the road, by a forest. He was alone, and it was cold out. He had no idea how to find food or where to go or what to do. Jacob was scared and felt doomed. He tried to find shelter, but every time he did, he was chased off by another animal. Instead, he just kept walking, terrified at every sound of the night.
When morning came and Jacob could walk no more, having traveled without stopping through the night, the fox's legs collapsed and he lie, awaiting death. He opened his eyes and looked up to see a large canine that called herself a wolf. She stood over a dead, young deer. It smelled heavenly, but Jacob had no idea what it was. The wolf came over to him and was kind to him. She even offered him some of her food. He went over to the deer and took a mouth full of the strange stuff to find it actually tasted quite good.
Jacob ate his fill and thanked the wolf, who found him an empty cave for him to stay in and rest. And now, as the sunrises on the next day, Jacob decides he needs to find out where he is so that he can get back to his family.
(His family left him because they had him illegally and the police were going to come after hearing reports that they had an animal illegally.)
