lol, i call it kneading 'cause they knead the bed or pillow before lying down.
um, some scientists think it's because the cat was either weened to early or it's simply a comfort behavior that cats remember from when they are babies. Nursing kittens use similar paw and arm movements to stimulate milk flow from their mothers. Momma cat also kneads the sleeping area to create a nice soft surface for her and her kittens.

lol You could have just said "It's a habit from when they are little. It's used to stimulate milk flow from their mothers." But you get 3 extra points since that was a very descriptive answer.

Scorpions have two eyes on the top of the head, and usually two to five pairs of eyes along the front corners of the head. Surpringly though, they can't really see all that well, figures huh?
