Name: Zeal
Age: Adult
Gender: Male
Clan: Zilanthin
Herd: none
Mate: none
Friends: none
Family: All family is deceased
Species: Bangal Tiger
Physical Description: Zeal looks like any normal Bengal Tiger does. His coloring is a fuzzy orange with black stripes along his body. His eyes are deep pools of blue and his build is rather large. He has a strong frame and is not afraid to use that to his advantage. With each step he takes his muscles flex and show against his fur. His paws are large and contain sharp claws ready to dig into anything they come in contact with. He has a long orange tail that is curled most of the time.
Personality: Zeal is an all around nice kind of cat. He can be caring and protective to the ones he loves, and vicious and uncaring to his enemies. In his appearance and as well as his personality, he is an alpha through and through. He is not a stranger to fights, though he doesn't like to get in any. He will if it is to protect the ones he loves, or fight for any territory he might claim. He is a born leader and is quite the clever cat. Coming up with hunting strategies is something he's good at. Coming up with ways to destroy his enemies is also something he spends time planning and thinking over. He is not lazy and can be found up and about most of the time. Even though he is more of a leader then anything else, he likes to be a loner at times. Over the years of being by himself have taught him how to work alone. Because of this, he can take care of himself almost anywhere he goes.
History: Zeal was on his own the minute he turned two. His parents were killed in a territorial dispute and he was left to fend for himself. He was forced out of his land because when his parents died, new tigers came in. Being forced out was a new experience for Zeal. All he had was himself and the memories of his parents to take with him. It was lucky that they had taught him enough of how to survive on his own. Over the past two years he has grown much and has become quite clever. Being on your own tends to teach oneself of how to take care of yourself and how to become even crafter and smarter then before. Where will his continuous journey finally come to a full stop? Who knows, but right now where he is at seems very tempting. If there were other tigers around, this place would seem almost perfect.
Role Play Sample: Zeal was wide eyed as the snake rose up out of the coins. This was no little bugger, this was one of those monsters. The d**ned fabled anaconda that his parents and others had talked about through out his years, but he never came across one until now...he didn't even believe they had existed. His body was frozen as his eyes locked onto the snakes, its gaze seemed hypnotize his, he couldn't move. It was about to strike at him when Diagra's roar caused it to flinch and thankfully seemed to give Zeal control over his body again.
His face turned from shock to anger. How dare this monster try and hurt him, let alone intrude on Diagra's land! This was her home not the snakes!
"Thats why you dont touch the water, it only knows we are here if you play in its water!"
She sounded like she was angry with him and he didn't blame her. No, he would not jump up beside her to safety, not with a snake that needed to be taken care of. If it wasn't taken care of now, then who can tell when it'll come out again? Who will be in its sights then? Diagra, or perhaps her cubs? No, it needed to be stopped, and Zeal found now a perfect time. The snake was still flinching from Diagra's roar that Zeal lunged, his muscles sending him flying at the snake’s neck. He was just a foot away when the snake recovered and ducked, something Zeal hadn't anticipated. He was going to fly over it when the snake lunged forward as well, latching on to his right paw. It was going to pull him down and start to constrict him but Zeal was going too fast and the snake ended up causing Zeal to slingshot towards the water.
That wasn't good, Zeal barely had enough time to duck his head into his chest as his body hit the wall hard and he fell down into the water. It was a good thing that tigers loved the water, and when one loved the water one knew how to swim. He was dazed and it took the coolness of the water to snap him out of it and he started to swim for the surface. A dark shadow started to slither into the water, and Zeal barely caught it in time. "d**n vermin!" Zeal shouted in his head as he turned around in the water and started to swim the other way. His head broke the surface and he took a deep breath of air. He quickly swam over to the edge and got two paws over the side when he suddenly felt something latch onto his back left paw and with a powerful tug, started to pull him back in. His claws fully unsheathed started to clamper onto the floor to try and snag something to stop him from being pulled back in but it was in vein. He gave one last look towards Diagra before he was pulled back under the water and was slowly being wrapped around and around. The strong muscles of the snake started to squeeze his very breath away. Zeal clawed and bit the snake over and over again but it didn't even seemed to phase the monster. The snake though made a critical mistake. It had started to squeeze around Zeal's stomach, leaving his claws hanging over the snake's body.
The snake's head wriggled around to look at its prey and stared Zeal right in the eye and was slightly surprised. Zeal was smiling, why was his prey smiling when it was about to die? His head drew closer to the tiger, he wouldn't be smiling anymore. The anaconda opened its mouth to swallow his victim whole when suddenly a five-clawed paw slashed its left eye, blinding the snake there permanently. It closed its mouth in pain and blood started to color the water, it quickly lightened its grasp around Zeal and it was just enough for him to escape. As the snake wriggled in pain in every which way, Zeal struggled to get to the surface. He was very close to drowning and the surface was there, in sight. Things started to get blurry, he was starting to slow down, to give up. Finally his head broke the surface and he gulped in the air. He was weak, his paws had deep painful fang marks and the snake would definitely be coming back any second.
He barely managed to pull himself up out of the water and collapsed onto the floor, drained and bleeding from where the snake had clamped down. It wasn't over, no he couldn't let such a beast get away...but he was so weak and his energy was only barely starting to return. He wanted to call out for help and his mouth opened to say something but nothing came out. He had too much pride to ask for help. So what was he going to do now? Let the snake eat him and Diagra if she tried to help him? No, he couldn't let that happen...he would...have to escape. This battle will have to be finished at another time when Zeal was ready and he knew it. He had wounded the snake, a grave injury to sustain. He knew he wouldn't be able to see in his left eye anymore, a great advantage in the future for Zeal. Zeal looked to where Diagra was and mouthed the word help. He didn't want help and he hated to admit it but he couldn't escape without help and that snake was due to come bursting out of the water any second now.
