Name: Leviathan
Age: 40
Gender: Male
Clan: Zilanthin
Herd: None
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: None
Species: Salt-water crocodile (salt and water should be one word, but the censor system turned it into salthingy).
Physical Description: Leviathan is five metres long and covered in black and yellow scales that have turned dull and grey on his back. He always appears to have a benevolent, toothy smile on his face – an illusion that, if you knew him, you would realise was just due to the shape of his jaw.
Personality: Leviathan loves lying in the sun. And hunting. And killing things. And biting and maiming and eating. Did I mention he likes lying in the sun too? Most crocodiles can go weeks without food and only hunt when necessary, but Leviathan hunts successfully every few days. He’s not one to waste food though – everything goes straight down his gaping jaws. Despite this, he’s not adverse to conversing with animals he would usually call prey – he has a dark sense of humour and a quick mind. He would make an interesting friend, if one didn’t mind his sadistic love of blood and occasional disloyalty.
History: As a youngster, Leviathan was always careful, avoiding the territories of larger animals and hiding under riverbanks, living on small fish. He hated the larger animals with a vengeance, and longed for the day he would be able to fight them. One day, that day came. After a series of sudden growth spurts, he was amazed to find that he was feared now. First to go was a relatively small shark that had been hunting up and down the estuary Leviathan lived in, picking on the young crocodile in particular. After killing and eating the shark, he drove out all other competitors, establishing a territory in the estuary. He lived there for many years, happily hunting and basking in the sun, until one day the tide retreated from the estuary, and instead of rising again, fled out to sea. Leviathan stubbornly remained in the dried-up river, until he realised that to find prey he needed to find a new home. Now he’s on the hunt for a new territory.
Picture: I encourage people to actually click these links and look at the pictures. They're quite good. And they are all the same crocodile.

This one's the best - replace Salthingy with Salt water (1 word) though - upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/43/SalthingyerCrocodile%28%27Maximo%27%29.jpg
