Information on ranks:
Leaders: The leaders are the alphas. What they say goes, end of story.
Deputy: The Deputy is second in charge. When ether alpha can't for any reason lead the herd, whether it be from injury or not being able to get there, the Deputy takes charge and makes the best decision for the herd until the alphas can lead again. What the Deputy says goes unless it conflicts with what the alphas want to do.
Peace Keepers: The Peace Keepers do pretty much what their name suggests. They keep the peace. Their job is to make sure there are no fights among the herd and that any rogues or any animal outside the clan that causes trouble will be dealt with swiftly and kicked out. The Lead Guard Has been given full control over the ones under him/her and is let to decide on how they operate. The Lead Guard reports to the alphas only.
Hunters: The hunters, simply put, hunt. They hunt for the herd members that for whatever reason cant hunt for themselves. They also sometimes do it when the urge for meat gets too strong to ignore. The lead hunter picks how many hunters they need for the hunt and how they'll go about doing it. All hunters listen to the lead and the lead listens to the alphas.
Healers: The healers are those animals that have the knowledge of how to treat wounds and what to do. There is a lead healer who is meant to bring order to those under him/her. It's usually the animal who knows the most about healing and can teach those under him/her. They are usually the first ones there when a herd member is hurt.
The jobless are those who don't have a job, or are too old to work one. Usually it's those that don't want one or are too lazy or incapable of doing any of it, or those that want one and haven't been given on yet.
Children: The offspring are just that, offspring. They can't do anything other then play around and be cared for. They can however, if they want, observe what the jobs are in the herd.
All animals that want a specific rank or want to be included on this list have to have at least met one of the alphas first who will then descide where to place them.
