Name: Tarmo
Age Group: Adult
Gender: Male
Clan: Maninjara
Herd: None
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: None
Species: Field Mouse
Physical Description: Tarmo is a very adorable little mouse, though he hates to admit it, for he'd rather be tough looking. His fur is a mix of blacks and browns, and even a little red. His stomach is a cream color, with a more yellowish patch on his neck. His small feet are a soft pink, while his nose is a darker shade. His ears, a little large for a mouse, are gray, while his tail is a silver color. His large black eyes seem nearly crazy with excitement, even on the most boring of days.
Personality: Tarmo is a creature who cannot sit still and who is never bored. He can always find something to do, even if it means making up some weird game that makes no sense. One thing is for certain, and that is that it is nearly impossible for any animal to be bored when they are around him. Crazy and hyper, Tarmo often blurts out things that make no sense at all. Surprisingly, he is quite smart when he takes the time to think things through. Usually, however, he rushes right into something without thinking at all. He's fearless and never seems to be afraid, even when facing large predators. If, however, he feels threatened, he will often make threats to fight. If the attacker doesn't back down, he will go through with it. However, he will fight more for fun then out of fear. Indeed, there is only one thing that terrifies this brave little mouse, and that is storms. Whether it be thunder, lightning, heavy rain, strong wind, or even just dark clouds, this little creature will go ballistic trying to get away from them. Even at the smallest drop of rain, he'll seem to lose his mind and frantically try to hide from the storm.
History: Tarmo had a pretty normal life. He was raised in Amanija, though his family lived sucluded from all others and he never really learned much about the land. He grew up with, and still lives with, his mother, aunt, two cousins, three brothers, and one sister. He likes his family very much, but he sometimes gets annoyed because often he would tell them stories about how he fought a large beast such as a tiger. They would tell him that he couldn't fight something so big and strong, and that he never would be able to. This would upset the poor mouse, but he never stopped believing in that dream, though he knew it could not happen.
One day, however, Tarmo befriended a rather nice tiger. Over time, he became great friends with that tiger and spent all his time with it. Tarmo later explained about his dream to fight a tiger or a bear or something of the sort and win, but that his family would not believe in him. As the tiger was a good friend, it replied, challenging Tarmo to a fight. Tarmo happily accepted, realizing this was his chance to prove himself. "But what if they don't believe me?" He asked. The tiger chuckled and replied, "if you win, I'll come with you and tell your family myself that you beat me." The little mouse thanked his friend and agreed. And so, the battle began. Knowing full well that the mouse couldn't win, the tiger made all of his attacks miss their target, and allowed all of Tarmo's to hit him. The sharp teeth and claws of the tiny mouse caused a little discomfort, but the tiger put up with it for it's friend. After a little while, the tiger pretended to be too tired to fight. "I can't fight any more. You win," the tiger told it's friend. Tarmo was overjoyed, having not realized that the tiger let him win. And so, the two left for the little mouse's home. His family was frightened at the sight of the tiger at first, but the tiger quickly explained everything. His family was amazed. Happy that they believed in him now, Tarmo thanked the tiger and raced off to celebrate.
Once Tarmo was out of ear shot, the tiger told his family that he had let the mouse win. "We had guessed so," they replied. "Well, I thought it would be a kind thing to do," the tiger replied with a smile. "Although I'm not so sure now.... Let's just hope it doesn't go to his head. He might try to attack another tiger or other creature that is not so friendly...." "So long as you are friends with him, I am sure he will be fine," Tarmo's mother replied with a warm smile.
