Name: Zulimar (Blue Sea)
Age: 8 (equivalent to a four-year-old horse)
Gender: Female
Clan: Sasukaeill
Herd: Planning to claim Land of Sea
Mate: None
Friends: Arimathea
Family: None
Species: Horse - Appaloosa
Physical Description: The base colour of Zulimar’s coat is white, but she is covered in small, black spots ringed with patches of blue-grey. Her mane and tail are white with black streaks. The spots are concentrated in some places, giving her black ears, black socks and a black-tipped muzzle. She has the slim, muscular build of a horse used to roaming long distances, and is 15.2 hands.
Personality: Like the ocean she was named for, Zulimar is usually quiet and peaceful, but can be unpredictable. She has a gentle nature, though, and is almost always calm and kind. She is intelligent with a quick wit, and prefers to solve problems through discussion than fighting. The large size of her homeland means that she is used to running over long distances, and its proximity to the sea means that she can swim well. Her greatest love in life is the ocean, and wherever she goes, she always remains within a mile or so of the coast.
History: Zulimar grew up on a beach in a very small herd. Her mother, a very wise mare that led the herd, raised her to be the next leader, teaching her to be patient, kind and brave, as well as other useful things like how to swim and where to find edible kelp growing on the rocks. She never knew her father, as there were only a few stallions in her herd and none of them was her father – her mother didn’t like to speak about her father. However, when her mother died, another mare took over the leadership of the herd. This mare and her friends forced Zulimar to leave, and so she set off to start her own herd.
