Name: Shuin
Age: Adult
Gender: male
Clan: undecided
Herd: none
Mate: none
Friends: none
Family: Stayed behind
Species: Gray Wolf
Physical Description: Shuin has a smooth all black pelt with the exception of his chest hair color. His chest hair is bright white while the rest of his fur is pitch black. His eyes are a deep green that seem to hold curiosity in its grasp. Blackened rings circle around his eyes. He is a well built wolf, and is slightly stronger then the average male, not that he’d use his strength other then for hunting. He has a long black muzzle with sensitive whiskers in one patch on each side of the snout. Shuin is two feet tall and weighs 94 pounds which makes him look like he is well fed.
Personality: Shuin to say the least is a calm wolf. He avoids having to fight because he thinks it’s stupid to mar up ones body with scars. What do fights lead to anyway? Perhaps more territory, but is it truly worth it at the cost of friends and family? He likes to sneak off and be alone in peaceful little “hideouts” when he gets stressed. Expressing his emotions for him is like running into a brick wall. He can’t bring himself to show what he feels for anything. His friends don’t know if he likes them or not, his parents haven’t even heard him utter the word I love you, and you can probably forget about him saying I want to be with you to a potential mate. He doesn’t understand why he has trouble saying how he feels. He tries his best though, but it is usually awkward for him and he feels very uncomfortable.
If he asked to go along somewhere by his friends or someone in any herd he joins he will go. No matter how stupid, crazy, daring, suicidal trip or plan he has ever heard…he will still go. He can even be swayed to go to a fight, but it would take a lot of convincing for him to go along with that. He feels like he should do whatever he can for the herd he’ll eventually join and his friends to make them happy. He doesn’t want to lose them, and has tied losing them with him not being able to express how he feels. He’s afraid of losing any of them because of how he has trouble expressing his emotions. So he goes along with them in hopes of keeping them as his fiends or herd members. Even though Shuin goes along with things, he is a clever wolf. Thinking quickly is what he does best, but that doesn’t mean he will always act out his thoughts.
History: Shuin was born just like any other wolf into a pack. His parents were low in rank, which meant that he was nothing special. From an early age he couldn’t and wouldn’t say how he felt about things. He just went along with the flow. His black coat stood out from most members of the pack, and he felt alone. This thought made him feel more inclined to not say what he was feeling. He grew up and made friends within the pack, even some ranking members. A time came when he got the urge to leave his pack and just wander alone. He left without any regrets, after all they never really understood him. He was hoping he'd find some place where the animals wouldn't mind his major flaw.
After wandering for about a year he finally stumbled upon Amanji. So far he has just scratched the surface and he can't wait to find out more about this place. He's gone Lone Wolf long enough.
Role Play Sample: "Is this going to be stupid?" Shuin bluntly asked his friend. "No it’s not! I’m telling you it’s worth it!" Nuin excitedly barked. Shuin just sighed but he followed his friend through the Rift Valley. "Okay, okay, now…look over at the tall grass in the distance. Now, we just have to wait." Nuin told his friend and sat down and stared off towards the grass. "What are we waiting for?" Shuin asked as he sat down beside him. "Shhhhhh, you’ll miss it!" Nuin exclaimed. Shuin settled his eyes at the tall grass. He didn’t even want to come along in the first place, but he couldn’t say no to his friend. He had an aching feeling about what Nuin had led him to in the past. Nuin wasn’t exactly the smartest wolf around, and was the quickest to be entertained. Thoughts about what was going to happen ending up being stupid entered his mind. He shook those thoughts out of his head and continued to stare off at the tall grass. He was too curious about this to leave anyway.
A few minutes passed by with nothing interesting happening. Shuin glanced over to his friend to see him leaning forward with an excited look in his eyes. "When is this sup…" "SHHH! Any minute now!" Nuin interrupted him and continued to glare at the grass. Shuin then returned his gaze over to the grass. The wind started to pick up, and flow passed them. It blew their fur forward, making them look almost spiky. The wind howled as it blew into the grass, making them sway from side to side. The grass danced before the wind, moving in one direction then the other. At the sight of this, Nuin started to laugh out loud. He fell to his side and rolled around on the cool grass that they were on. Shuin remained motionless at the sight. "I should of known better. Wait…I did know better." Shuin thought to himself and got back up on all fours.
"It was great huh?!" Nuin asked as stopped rolling to lay on his back. His two front paws were arched and close to his neck. His tongue was sticking out of his mouth to rest on the side. "Ya…real great. Can we go back now, or is there more?" Shuin asked calmly as he eyed his friend. "Naw, that was it! Made me cry the last time I saw it. Yes, we need to go back, it will turn dark soon." Nuin stated and got back on his feet. "Thanks for coming along Shu, no else would." Nuin thanked his friend and smiled. He knew Shuin didn’t like to be called that. "Right…no problem. It’s Shuin by the way, and you know it." Shuin told him quietly as he walked beside him.
