Physical Description:
Sasha is a beautiful mare. She's a light grey, and has quite a few dark scars. These are nips from other horses while let out in the paddock with them when she lived on a farm. She has very graceful and fluid movements, and would obviously make an amazing horse for Dressage or Hunter. She stands at 15.2hh, or about 157cm. She usually has her ears pricked and looks happy.
Personality:
Sasha is a somewhat shy horse. She'll interact with other animals, but not until they make the first move. She's terrified of fighting and is very submissive. She tries to please everybody and often forgets about herself. She's very soft spoken and rarely gets angry. When she does get angry, she won't do anything to whomever she is mad at unless she has somebody standing beside her that can keep her safe. She's a great and loyal friend to have once you can get past her shyness. She hates going anywhere alone for fear that people will make fun of her or that she'll somehow get in a fight. She loves human interaction, but obviously will not get that here. Overall, she is a very nice animal, worthy of anyone's friendship.
History:
Sasha was born at a massive stable early one spring morning. Her dam was a beautiful Dressage champion, and her sire was a world renowned jumper. Sasha's owners had high hopes for her, until that awful day. When Sasha was two, she was put in the paddock with a Thoroughbred filly. This girl was bred to race. The groom that had turned them out forgot to lock the gate and the ladies ran out. The groom noticed his mistake and went after the filly, feeling that racehorses were more valuable than any other horse. Sasha ran for a long time, until she became quite lost. She didn't recognize any of her surroundings any more, and she couldn't smell any familiar smells. She continued to run for some reason she doesn't know, until she wound up in some strange land, where she is now. She doesn't know why she ran away that day, she loved life on the farm. She had just felt like getting out and having a nice run, not intending to get so lost. She does know one thing for sure: it's a good thing the farrier hadn't come to shoe her yet.
Role Play Sample:
As her owner walked over to Sasha's paddock, she whinnied loudly and cantered to the gate. She adored her owner and badly needed to be groomed. She had rolled in the mud and had gotten her nearly white coat quite brown. The mud had dried, but it was still itchy and was irritating Sasha. Her owner came over and quickly opened the gate, throwing her arms around Sasha and giving her a big hug. She then clipped her hot pink lead rope to Sasha's hot pink halter. She turned her light blue eyes to the young man walking up beside the paddock. "I definitely love this horse as much as I love you," she said, her eyes sparkling and her face grinning. It was obviously that she was smitten with this man, and as much as she loved her horse, nothing came close to her love for him. The man laughed and put his arm around the girl's shoulders. "Lets get out of the sun, it's too hot out here," he said, gently pulling her toward the barn. She eagerly walked with him, still holding Sasha's lead rope. Sasha followed, walking briskly. She loved these people and all the attention they showered her with. They entered the barn and hooked Sasha up to the crossties. They slowly groomed her, having to stop every so often just to play around with her or they'd have to pay attention to each other for a bit. It really grossed Sasha out, seeing the way they carried on. Really, why did they need to do that gross kissing thing so much? As she lost their attention yet again, she impatiently stomped her hoof and snorted, causing them to notice her again. At least she knew how to regain their attention.
