Name: Nara
Age: Adolescence
Gender: Female
Clan: Undecided
Herd: None
Mate:None
Friends:None
Family: Stuck in Africa
Species:Cheetah
Physical Description: Nara has a light frame that was built for speed. She's skinny but yet is well fed, and has a solid yellow skin tone riddled with black spots. Her eyes are a dark green and her nose is a dusty black. She has large canines and her claws are always visible, they never retract. Her tail is long and often curve, but when in an all out run it straightens out and helps her become streamlined. Because of all the running she does, she has very strong leg muscles which can be noticed if one looked hard enough.
Personality: Nara is a ball of energy. She always has to be doing something no matter what except when it's time to sleep. Once she goes to sleep there is no waking her. She sleeps like a rock, not even if she was jumped on or yelled at would she even stir. She is nice and a considerate animal, but if you get on her bad side you won't ever hear the end of it. Talking and yelling at a million miles per hour like she does could seriously blow out your eardrum. Her favorite thing to do is to run and will often run to places that really aren't that far away. Once she tires it only take a few minutes to where she can run again like she had never gotten tired in the first place.
She loves to have fun and make new friends that can stand her when she's full of energy...and that is pretty much every second she's awake. She was often used as a messenger between the prides in Africa and sometimes within her own species she'll be glad to give anyone a message. She has apprentice written all over her spots.
History: The minute Nara could walk she was everywhere at once. Her parents couldn't stop the little ball of energy but tried their best. Between the sneaking out and running up the cave walls, her parents got fed up. As soon as she was old enough, like the very first day, they told her she was on her own. Those words hit Nara hard...it was the best day of her life. The second after they were said she raced off into the unknown, ready to take care of herself and explore and see if she truly had a limitless energy supply. So far it hasn't been proven whether or not there is a limit. She can get tired, but soon it comes right back and she full of energy again.
For the next year and a half she roamed Africa, often playing the messenger between the lion prides and anyone else who wanted a message to be delivered. Because of this constant running, her leg muscles have become as hard as steel and remembering the messages has given her an above average memory. With her first encounter of humans, it was with a tribe. She was weary of these two-legers but curious as well. A lone lion had been killing their cattle but they suspected Nara of doing it instead. Nara learned a lesson about the humans, their sharp sticks hurt like crazy and that she should avoid them at all costs.
It wasn't long before she stopped where the ocean met the land. One of the magical large wooden crafts, or a canoe with a blue tarp in the back caught her eye. As the humans left she decided to leave Africa as well. By the time the humans returned to their canoe, Nara was already sprawled out under the tarp. She fell asleep and when she woke up she found that the humans had left the boat once more and she peeked out. She was on some Island so she ventured out into the forest. There she met a few...very large lizards who smelled her with their tongue and tried to eat her. Frightened, Nara ran back to the boat and hid under the tarp. She was shocked to see another giant lizard there as well and was about to run away when she saw that it had fallen asleep.
Soon the humans came back and the boat was off again. Nara hid well past the giant lizard and fell asleep as well. Well really, there isn't much to do on a small canoe that floats from island to island. It was when she awoke to the startled lizards movements that Nara saw the humans staring at the both of them. The lizard ran away first but the humans didn't follow. They just saw the cheetah and wanted it out of the boat so they screamed some more. They didn't have to tell Nara twice and she ran out as well, going a different way from the lizard. Now she roams, still a ball of energy, and I give my best of luck to Amanija.
