Name: Falcon
Age Group: Adolescence
Gender: Male
Clan: Deterahn
Herd: Fate's Canyon
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: All deceased
Species: Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus)
Physical Description: Falcon is your typical Peregrine Falcon. They are large, crow sized birds by nature, with a blue-gray back, barred white underparts, a black head, and "moustache". They can reach speeds over 322 km/h (200 mph), making peregrine falcons the fastest animal in the world. Falcon has a body length of 50 cm (20 in) and a wingspan of 120 cm (47 in). He weighs about 750 g. All of which, is inside the norm for his species.
Personality: Falcon is a carefree bird. He spends most of his time gliding at high altitudes, looking down at the world below him. When flying, he likes to show off. He will do complex acrobatics, dives, swoops, rolls, and the like. Falcon can rarely be found on the ground for this reason. He enjoys flying. However, if you catch him on the ground, its for one of three reason. 1. He's tired and needs a nap, so don't bother him. 2. He's eating, so don't bother him. 3. He is welcoming new comers to Fate's Canyon. You can bother him at this time if you so wish.
His behavior around others is impeccable. He is kind and generous, as well as loving and loyal. However, if you catch him in either 1. or 2. stated above and you do bother him, you'd better hope you can escape his talons, and even more so, his wrath. He will never attack unless provoked, and you can call out to him in the sky. He will come land nearby and chat, and Falcon will be pleasant.
History: Falcon came from a place amongst humans. He was there before them though, but they built their home nearby his nest, but Falcon didn't mind. In his opinion, a lion could make a home nearby, and he wouldn't care. The humans loved Falcon, and they seemed to love him even more when he found a "mate". She was more his companion until they both matured. The humans left bits of meat nearby a window, and the small humans would jump and smile when they saw him and his mate land, to feed. However, happiness never lasts, and when things are too good to be true, they usually are. One day, when Falcon was out hunting, he heard one, short cry from his mate. He rushed back, diving at an angle that would take him directly their, so he wouldn't have to flap at all. However, when he arrived, he was too late. His nest was destroyed and his mate was gone. There was human scent all around the tree. Falcon swore he would get his revenge.
The next week, he did. One of the small humans was outside playing. Falcon swooped down on it, and tore at it. It flailed weakly, and Falcon was able to cause major damage to it. He then left, and started flying. Where he did not know, but he eventually arrived here, and hasn't left since.
