A patch of white lay in the lush grass, the winds pushing the plants onto his nose. The creature wriggled the pink nose in his sleep, and opened his eyes--A red left eye, the pupil slightly faded; the other eye white, scars across it. The lion's mane was a natural mohawk, the hair white as snow. The shorter, velvety fur was silvery, glittering in the sun as the wind ruffled it. The albino lion sat up, yawning, stretching his jaw and revealing sharp, long fangs. As soon as his jaw closed, he shuddered, standing and stretching his legs. The nap was pleasant, especially in such a peaceful place, and was much needed.
Mokosana--That was who this lion was.

Kebi A dark shadow covered the ground, moving fluidly with every step its creator took. It stretched and twirled as the master curved with the grass, flowing between the soft, tall blades. Her earthen pelt stood out against the bright green of the grass but the lioness was kept hidden easily by the sheer height of her surroundings. No trees blocked out the sun and only small bushes were scattered around the valley. The lioness was alone, left to her own devices for the day, or actually, she had been alone for the majority of her life so far. But Kebi didn’t mind so much anymore. Her prissy, princess attitude had left her the day her king disowned her. She was a strong, self-dependant lioness and she didn’t need anyone.
Out in the valley, a flicker of movement caught her eye. Her body froze, all muscles intent on the white shape moving about the green grass. Her instincts kicked in, nose twitching and tail flicking violently behind her. A lion. He was alone, or so her senses told her. Kebi crept forward, silent and careful, toward the white beast.
Oh what to do, what to do… A playful grin stole over Kebi’s maw. Her ears pricked as her paws carried her gracefully toward the brute, totally silent on the soft dirt. He hadn’t seemed to notice her. What was he doing out here? All alone, in the middle of an empty valley, no scent of a kill. Kebi was left to wonder but she soon found that it didn’t matter much. Her plan remained the same.
She stole closer and closer, approaching with more caution the closer she got. When the lioness was within mere yards of her target, her movements stopped, her body held perfectly still. With a quick check to make sure he still hadn’t noticed her presence, Kebi straightened her neck, letting her maw open wide with a loud and authoritative roar. Her golden eyes closed and her ears pulled back, giving the feline a much more alarming appearance. Though, to a male lion, the image might not be so fearsome, only unexpected or startling.

(Reading your introduction made me realize how -blocked-py mine was.)
The lion was still half asleep; it took him a few seconds to register that--oh, there was someone behind him. He turned to face the feline, straining both neck and back to see her, due to the blind eye. He stood, turning to get a better look at her. His ears twitched--at least that roar woke him up. Startled him a bit, but it did more good than bad. (AKA, wet himself) He tossed his head, forcing his mane out of his working eye, which scanned the lioness up and down. She was quite pretty--but who was he to judge by looks?
"So, you, too, are alone?" Mokosana finally asked, scanning the landscape. He took a deep breath, exhaled softly. Seemed like everyone was going solo these days.

Kebi Kebi quieted her voice, mouth closing and eyes blinking back open to the bright sun. Her ears pricked and eyes focused on the white male. No sudden jump of surprise, no angry roar, nothing. Kebi frowned impatiently as he slowly registered that he had been wakened. This was definitly not the reaction she had wanted. She wanted a jump, a yelp, some form of sudden response. Instead, she had gotten a lazy glance. Well, at least he stood up now, facing her.
She blinked innocently as if she had done nothing in the world to interrupt this great brute's slumber. Her ears flicked back as if she were respectful of him. It was, of course, an act.
With a twitch of her nose, Kebi caught a whiff of urine. Her beige maw cracked in an amused grin. So she had scared the brute after all. Her goal had been achieved! Well, she hadn't really planned on her being too enthused with her joke or her presence afterward but he didn't seem to mind. "So, you, too, are alone?"
Kebi simply stared at him, blinking her gold eyes at the white brute. He seemed lazy, as if nothing in the world could get this fat creature off his bum. Of course she was alone. No other cat, or dog, was worth her time. It wasn't that Kebi was arrogant, she simply knew what she deserved; She knew her self-worth. Besides, living with another only led to the same troubles her King had given her. You got attached and then you got abandoned. No, Kebi was not bitter or reminescet. Kebi was realistic. She was clever enough to avoid pain if possible and proud enough to know what she deserved.
"Should I not be?" Kebi questioned calmly. She stood facing him, her lithe body much smaller than the great brute's. She looked at him carefully, noticing his scars. One of his eyes was clouded over, blind. The other was red, indicating that this male was an albino, not simply white. Kebi didn't know much about albinos but there didn't seem to be any difference aside from their eyes.

(I thought I replied to this...)
"I hadn't expected it," he admitted, "Most others I've met here, they've been in a group." (NPCs, for the win!) Well, that's what he got for being stereotypical. "But there's nothing wrong with it." He stared off in the distance; he thought he had seen something, but nothing was there. Great, time to go insane. He looked back to her, unsure of what else to say. He had come across many others, but he wasn't much for conversation... Small talk, maybe? "So, what brings you here?" he finally asked. Yes, that would work. It might get a good conversation started.
