Falcon sensed that neither of his companions knew what he had meant by roles. He decided that he would clarify when they got to a different location. Falcon hated ground travel, but as the other two were land based creatures, he had to stay on the ground for their sake. Falcon spotted a large rock formation ahead, one of the few that were in the area. He saw this as his destination, so he extended his hops so he cleared the distance with as little ground contact as possible. Once their, he waited for the others to arrive.

"Now that we are alone, I shall state what my role will be. I believe that I should play scout, and air defense, as I am not that great on the ground. Being a sky bird, it would be best it I remained in the sky, so I can be of the most use to our mission." Falcon hoped that would clarify what he had meant by roles. He then scanned the area around them, using his acute hearing and sight to see if there was anyone else around.

Pension heard the mouse say that he could be a body guard .He was starting to understand what Falcon had meant. Pension was still abit confused though. When the mouse had asked if they should say their real names Pension quietly agreed. Pension walked on quietly . Now that he was moving his leg was starting to hurt again. He held his breath and contued to walk along.
Pension stopped as they arrived at a rock that was a little ways away. When Falcon said that he would be a scout Pension now understood what he meant. Pension thought for a few seconds . He was trying to figure out what role he could be most helpful as.''Uhhh I think .......that I would be ...the ....inteligence... uhhhhh....bird.'' Pension said. he really did not know what he would be most useful as but he knew that he was a very smart bird even if he did not catch on as fast as most would. He then looked down at his feet as he was thinking.
