Family: N/A
Species: Roe Deer
Physical Description: Ruddy has a normal, yet impressive appearance to a animal who happens to look at him. Being a deer, you can expect he has the normal appearance of one, but has his own individual markings that can get him singled out if anyone notices them. And of course he has a lean and tall build, not exactly made for strength, but enabling him to have a agile look. His long legs are perfect for leaping, jumping, running, anything they may have to do to ensure Ruddy's survival. He has a seemingly long neck, not that long but allows him to lower his head and reach down for a bite of grass or two. You can consider him thin, not exactly though, he is of average weight thankfully, hardly having time to gain any weight. His few natural weapons are his hooves, which are strong and hard, and even sharp at the ends, giving him to freedom to move around without his feet actually getting damaged in the process. Ruddy's head is narrow, just like most deers, going from the begging to the end where the nose is. The nose itself is big but normal size, and has noticeable nostrils enabled to smell scents easily. His tail is short, and furry, able to be moved at will. His ears are big, long, and wide, both turning constantly to detect any sort of disturbance. And Ruddy also has his main weapon, one pair of antlers, which are still growing right now. When it comes down to colors. His coat is now golden red due to these hot temperatures, and his eyes are a light green.
Personality: Ruddy is usually said the be the nice guy, and a friend to talk to. He is also smart, and usually takes in information surprisingly well. Ruddy is not that naive, he is more mature, and able to keep what he does in check. You can usually see that he is wary, careful to make sure he makes the right moves. He hates to thought of him being hunted down and eaten, which is usually the case for a deer like himself. He usually is not known to hold grudges, and tries his best to realize a mistake for something done on purpose, and is usually the one to give hateful looks. Always keeping his steps light, he always makes sure to hold his head high. Like any buck, he tries to impress, mostly the female group though. Ruddy likes to keep everything fair, a cheap trick is something he does not do, he doesn't want to go that low as to cheat his way out of anything, not unless it's to save his own life of course. When it comes to fighting he will do it if he has no choice or he is striving to get a reward out of it. Always thinking smart, he usually relies on the environment around him to uses it to his advantage. Getting into friendly chats is something he likes to do, and arguments are okay as well, as long as they don't end badly. Ruddy often looks over a animal who seems friendly, knowing to look passed that, he always stays alert to any swift movements that may startle him. He is also crafty and a bit tricky, coming up with little plans of his own in certain situations.
History: Ruddy was a very cute, and naive little deer when he was younger. Taking his first steps in the eyes of his mother, who was very proud to have a son who would be able to pass on both of her and her mate's genes. She also loved how he looked around him, curious, but careful of where he stepped and went to. Him asking her permission to do this or that insured more safety for him as a small fawn. Ruddy often met other fawns his age as well, his mother and father lived in a small herd, which divided in some season, but reunited in other seasons to ether find mates, breed, or have their children. And that gave Ruddy a high exposure to other deer, making him aware of his own species and others even. He was interested in other creatures that didn't look like himself or other deer. He met a fox who was friendly, and her kits, who she allowed Ruddy to play with as his mother and the young foxes play. Ruddy soon realized how different some species were built. How some had flat teeth, and the others had sharp ones, and others none at all. It was so weird, yet so cool at the same time. Ruddy decided to take the information around him and keep it in check in his mind as he grew. He learned about danger, and what to eat, and where the best shelter was. That was simple, and he often tested other plants to see if they were any good, and soon started to talk to different types of animals. It wasn't long before he became independent, and by this time, he was more mature, his speckled coat was replaced with a solid one, giving him a more adult look. And also his antlers were growing, and so was he. He became a buck before his mothers eyes, and soon enough he decided to walk on his own for once. Wanting to go out by himself was a bit scary, but he learned enough to be careful with everything, not to trust anyone. And the be able to do anything to ensure you and the ones close to you safety. And after many tries of practice he soon became more smarter, and able to get out of troubles he may have been in. And for now he stands tall, alone in the world we call the wild.
