Name: Kotori
Age: Adult
Gender: Male
Clan: Maninjara
Herd: Green Woods
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: None
Species: Coyote
Physical Description: Kotori is an average sized coyote, weighing around thirty five pounds. He has a sturdy build and large ears for hearing approaching danger or prey. His left ear is torn a little from an old fight with other coyotes, he also has a few other little scars from previous s-blocked-s. His eyes area pale mix of yellow and brown, and his fur has shades of gray, brown, white, and tan.
Personality: Kotori is the kind of animal that your friends tell you to stay away from. Nothing but trouble. But that's all just based on outward appearances. If you actually got to know him, or more importantly his past, they'd say much worse. But he's not actually bad natured, he just can't handle stress that easily, and it has cost him in the past. He usually thinks quite strategically, but he can be easily distracted or persuaded, but not to the point of being taken advantage of. He's not afraid to break a few rules, or make a few of his own. He doesn't fear punishment, and would openly accept fair prosecution for any kind of crime he commits. Having run from the law once before, he doesn't know if his conscience could handle any more. He's not proud of his past, and would rather forget it. He likes to believe that "bad" animals can change their ways, but he's having a hard time of it himself. Because of his past, he can be a bit paranoid at times, and doesn't like being questioned by others.
History: Kotori used to be part of a pack. It was a small one, a very close-knit family, but a pack nonetheless. Since they were such a small group, they were always on the move, looking for plots of unmarked land and for the most part staying out of trouble. He was raised his whole life in the pack, and grew up like all the other pups, but this nomadic lifestyle took a toll on him. He was never good at dealing with stress, and things seemed to just pile up in his fragile mind. All his life he kept his problems to himself, not wanting to force them on his fellow coyotes. His methods worked, but only for so long. As he got older, more problems seemed to present themselves, and when Kotori's mate had their first litter, one of the pups was born crippled. To him, this was the straw that broke the camels back, and in a fit of rage aimed at no one in particular, ended up killing his mate and two young pups. The rest of his pack was taken aback by his violent actions, and chased him as far away from them as possible.
After two days of this chase, he was finally left alone to rest, and mourn the loss. He hadn't meant for this to happen, but he had no one to blame but himself. For the next few days he barely ate, drank, or slept at all, too devastated to do so, but eventually he regained the will to live, and set out to find a new place to call home. Someplace where he could start over and try to correct the wrongs he had committed. He eventually came across the vast lands of Amanija. He stayed in the shared lands for a little, but now has set out to find a permanent home.
