Name: Teige
Age: 4 years
Gender: Female
Clan: undecided
Herd: none
Mate: none
Friends: None as of yet
Family: N/A
Species: Wolf/Malamute
Physical Description: Teige is about average size for a female Malamute. She keeps her mother's--the wolf's--frame. She is lighter, a narrower body than the thicker-built Malamute. Her fur is longer than a wolf's but shorter than a Malamute's. It is thin and soft. Her pelt is made of a mix of mostly white with black. All but her back is white. As a saddle over her, her back is black, darker along her spine and fading through greys over her sides. The darker colours stop completly just above her front limbs, making an obvious line of dark versus white. Also black is the top of her curled tail. Her thick, Malamute tail flips over her back but she can straighten it behind her if she really feels the need. She has tall, pricked ears and black eyes. Her black nose and lips really stand out against her pure white fur. She doesn't like to get dirty for the obviousness in her fur.
Personality: Teige is rarely quiet about what is on her mind. She is outspoken and honest. It is almost always obvious what Teige thinks and she makes sure everyone remembers it. She can get defensive but would rarely fight. Just seeing blood can, at times, make her sick. She would rather back down and submit to another wolf than fight. Even verbal fights she usually avoids. Though she does like some conflict, she lets that desire slide to fill the desire of no conflict. But that doesn't mean she would discourage anyone else from fighting; She doesn't tell others to avoid fighting but she doesn't go around stirring up trouble either. She believes that if two are meant to fight, they ought to fight, as long as it isn't her. Sometimes she can be rude, saying things too bluntly, forgetting her tact. In general, she knows how to be nice, even if she doesn't choose to be. It is her believe that she is terrible at consolation but she is decent at it, distracting from the tragedy by joking. She forgives easily because nothing stays on her mind for long. Teige isn't one to dwell on things. Because of that, things don't get to her often; She rarely gets distraught or angry, or so it appears on the outside. On the inside, she is sometimes crying though she wouldn't damage her pride by telling anyone else that. Sometimes, it bothers others when they see her completely calm about things they think are outrageous.
Teige understands what love is and is desperate for it herself. Although, that is the one thing she hides. Showing how desperate she is for love would make her vulnerable, or, that is her opinion.
History: She never did really know her parents. They were simply two figures who stood guard by her as a pup, fed her, made sure she was safe. But they were blank, emotionless, at least toward their daughter. She had three brothers and one sister. The pups formed their own family, excluding their mother and father. Thinking, as youngsters do, that they knew everything, the five set out on their own at only 4 months. Two of her brothers never made it past the first winter and her sister died the next summer during a hunt. Things only seemed to be getting worse for the yearlings. Teige and Kenji were alone, only eachother to fall back on. They fought often but knew that, in reality, they needed eachother more than anything else. And so they fought on, eating when they could kill something and staying in one place as long as they could before Kenji got restless. But, as the pups neared their two years, Kenji threw a fit about Teige's seemingly emotionless view on their life and him. He set off on his own. Teige, after wandering alone for only a few days, met with Harlin, a lone wolf who seemed almost perfect to her. Since, she has tried to follow him around but he is quite successful at avoiding her.

Role Play Sample:
She could see it out the corner of her eye. Shuin was looking at her again. She slowly raised her head, eyes carefully and cautiously making their way up to meet his. She stared at him, her mind suddenly filling with every thought of him. This was not normal. She shook her head, ruff twisting around before settling back down as she stopped. Her eyes opened again, firmly set on his.
"Really? You think fighting is pointless as well? Such truth in those words. It seems we share similar views on things. It makes me wonder if you like to sneak out at night and venture out alone with only the moon’s glow to guide you. Just you, the wind, and the stars. Such pleasant feelings one can get just by walking amongst the shadows without a care in the world."
Why did he insist on digging into her thoughts and feelings? She blinked at him, beyond surprise at this point. There was no reason for him to be able to read her like that. No excuse. Was she that easy to read? It had long been her goal to be hard to read, keep herself shut up so others never knew what was going on. But this male, Shuin... He just continued plowing through every feeling, every thought she had ever had. It was inexcusable.
"I like the night," she mumbled. Her tail slowly lost its tension and fell back down over her paws and the ground. She let it give a few friendly beats before silencing it. "Night is good."
"I...like your red ears, they look nice."
Okay, so Rayen had only thought she was beyond surprise. As it turns out, Shuin had more up his... sleeve. He liked her ears? Of everything he had to chose from, her ears. Wow. Rayen stared at him, one eyebrown raised at his awkward comment. Oh yes, awkward. Not only was she sure that he was feeling pretty embaressed and stupid right at this point, she was feeling shy and embaressed. She folded back her ears. He couldn't notice and like them if he couldn't see them. They flattened against her head, tighter than before. But just when she thought he was out of stupid comments... "I uh...umm...should...should really introduce Nuin to you some time. Ya...he's...crazy."
Oh the poor brute was losing it. Maybe she could cut him some slack and be nice... Tell him he really didn't sound that retarded. Reassure him that this conversation was actually deeply meaningful. But she just couldn't bring herself to do it. It was just too.... considerate. Rayen was not considerate when it came to boosting self-confidence, well, usually.
"Shuin, what are you talking about? You are crazy. You are telling me how you like my red ears. That is not normal. Then you try to hide that comment with some dumb comment about some male named Nuin. Just one question though. Have you completly lost it?" Her thoughts of his previous intelligence were fading to be replaced by thoughts such as 'What the heck it is talking about?' and 'Why is he telling me this?'
All-in-all, Rayen was simply confused. She didn't know what to think of this Shuin or his little friend, Nuin, who by coincidence or relation, had a rhyhming name. Add in the fact that he had complimented her appearance and she was dangling on the edge of utter chaos. No one had ever before commented, let alone complimented her appearance. And her ears? Why ears? Again, not normal. But maybe Shuin was beyond normal. Normal was outdated anyway, in Rayen's book. Better to be outside the box, your own wolf. Shuin was definitly one of a kind, that much was certain.
