Name: Calypso
Age: 5 years
Gender: Female
Clan: undecided
Herd: none
Mate: none
Friends: None as of yet
Family: N/A
Species: Bobcat
Physical Description: This cat is small, even for a Bobcat. Her frame is put together thickly, with enough fat and muscle under her fur to keep her from looking famished, whether she is or not. She has wide paws with sharp retractable claws that she does not hesitate to use. Calypso is built like most house cats and has similar markings as those of a tabby cat. Her belly is white while the rest of her pelt is shaded between browns and greys. Only at the tip of her docked tail does her fur ever reach solid black. Her fur is thick and most often soft unless she hasn’t had time in the recent past to tend to her appearance. Two pricked ears sit atop her head, each with a white spot on the back. Her almond-shaped eyes are brown though on certain occasions seem to have a forest green tint to them.
Personality: It seems that, for no reason at all, Calypso is a jerk most of the time. She protects herself before all others and at any cost. She is not what one would call self-sacrificing. If her life depends on something, she’ll do whatever it takes to save herself at the cost of someone else. She has little problems with killing though she doesn’t kill unnecessarily. Calypso may trust--she has found that trust makes things easier--but that doesn’t automatically mean you are worth something to her. Even when these others betray the trust she has given, it doesn’t seem to phase her. She expects very little from others but everything from herself. She expects herself to be perfect, and thus punishes herself when she is not. She considers no one a friend, simply another being in her life. Calypso usually tries to put on an air of a more caring cat but her true self slips through often. She is very much against love and feelings. She always thinks with her mind, never her heart. Everything has a solution that does not involve emotion. Though she is a loner at heart, Calypso prefers pack life. Even if she doesn’t trust others to provide for her sufficiently, sometimes it helps to have that little bit of an effort in your favor.
History: Along with three other sisters, Calypso was born to a lone fae who had been force bred. The kittens learned from only their mother, a cat who had already been suspicious of the world before her unfortunate meeting with the male cat. She taught her daughters to be wary of the world around them, not to trust, be ready to kill. Young Deidre took her mother so seriously she did not hesitate when a wolf crossed her path. The wolf killed the kitten and served as a lesson to Calypso. Just past 7 months, the cat abandoned her mother and sisters. She lived on her own for most of her life. Occasionally, another cat would travel with her, though not by her choice.
