Name: Raiden
Age Group: Adult
Gender: Male
Clan: Undecided
Herd: None
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: None
Species: Quetzalcoatlus
Physical Description: Standing at about the height of a giraffe, around 20 feet tall, and with a wing span of nearly 37 feet, Raiden is a terror in the sky. His species is the largest fliers to ever have lived. He has long, frail legs, large smooth wings, and a long neck with a small crest at the end. The top half of his neck is a dark, but bright, crimson. The rest of his head, neck, and feet are a pale color. The rest of his body, including the back half of his neck is a medium blue-gray shade, with his wings being a little lighter in color. Near the end of his wings, the color turns almost black. Because of his coloring, he can blend in with the skies, making this giant almost invisible. His eyes are a bright sapphire color and carry a sadness he will not speak of.
Personality: Due to his past, Raiden spends most of his days quietly brooding on the past. He's hard to get along with, as he won't speak much, and when he does, his tones and words are flat and lifeless. He'll say rude things sometimes, though he doesn't mean to. Even then, his tone is flat. He doesn't accept kindness from strangers. The only thing he wants is to either have his past changed or have a friend he can truly depend on. When offended, he may lash out with shrieks and displays of power, but rarely will he attack. Don't expect to speak to him without him flying off in the middle of what you're saying. Because of his frail wings and legs, and how clumsy he is on land, he doesn't like landing for long and prefers talking to fliers.
History: Raiden had perhaps one of the worst lives he could possibly have. When he was little, he was sickly and it was thought he would not survive. Soon, he tried to learn to fly. He hurt himself many times and nearly broke his neck once when he fell off of the tall cliff his family nested on. One day, his parents left to find food and he fell out of the nest. They returned as a pack of allosaurs spotted the helpless young flier. They tried to attack and his parents tried to defend him. They were easily rip to shreds and killed before his eyes. Raiden learned to fly just in the nick of time as the allosaurs started to come after him after devouring his parents. He hardly got away. Raiden had trouble feeding himself as he was very sickly, couldn't fly well, and had never learned to take care of himself. He survived, and eventually he found a mate. He was happy and had seven children. Just after they had learned to fly, the same pack of allosaurs came after the family. He tried to defend them, but as the first two of his children met their death, Raiden fled. The memories of his parents had invaded his mind and he left in terror. Behind him, he heard the death screams of his mate and his children. Later, he felt horrible and responsible for it. He left the area and flew on and on, not sure where to go or what to do. He had half a mind to find the allosauruses and allow them to take his life. However, he never could. Though he would not admit it, he had a fear of dying. He began to search for a friend, in hopes that he could find someone to feel the void that the allosaurs had left him with. So far, he hasn't found that friend and he has nearly given up. He closed up to others and hardly speaks.
