Name: Frostflame
Age Group: Adult
Gender: Female
Clan: Tundarak
Herd: None
Mate: None
Friends: None
Family: All family members have died or disappeared mysteriously.
Species: Clouded leopard {Neofelis nebulosa}
Physical Description: A elegant, small Clouded Leopard. She weighs about, roughly, 13 pounds, which is a little underweight for a Clouded Leopard. Frostflame has thick, short fur suited more to mild climate, but she's accustomed to the cold she lives in. As I have said, she is fairly small, but not unusually. At shoulder height she's 9 inches high. Compact and well-muscled, with an elegant air and a long tail that curves at the tip. Frostflame has teeth about two inches long, about normal for a Clouded Leopard. She's quite lean, and has long sharp claws on big paws and a flexible body. A pale tawny-brown with dark green-tinted amber eyes. Black 'clouds' dapple her body.
Personality: Frostflame has a very complicated personality. At first, she may seem very shy, but when with friends, she's always jumping ahead of herself. Generally thoughtful and sweet, but she has a hothead and can have a very sharp tongue. Very solitary and likes to travel and explore. She thinks if you need luck in the world, you have to make it. This girl doesn't bow to anyone and will talk back and fight if necessary. Prefers to go and pick an army off one by one than fight hopelessly to the death. However, she has a big fault; she'll never back down from a challenge. Fiercely loyal to her family and friends, and is a valuable fighter.
History: Frostflame was born in a quiet, beautiful glade deep in the tropical forests. Raised in humid, sweet, she was never prepared for the day her mother picked her up and took her away after a bad argument with shrieks and yowls of pain and anger, and even fear. They travelled far and wide, never staying in one place for too long. The two leopards both knew something, or someone, was following them. So they continued on, and eventually they stopped in a dark spreading tunnel of shadows. Just then a huge beast came roaring from the darkness, and Frostflame's mother kicked Frostflame away, shrieking for her to run. What else could she do? The cub ran as fas as she could, until her chest heaved for breath.
So she continued travelling, growing from cub to juvenile to adult. A deep sense of peace began to nestle in her heart as she travelled, and she's continued doing so ever since that horrible day where her mother disappeared forever. Finally she reached a place where she could rest, and she's grown to love the tundra. So she decided to settle down, but she's still waiting for adventure.
Is this your first time Role Playing? I roleplay a lot, but in forum roleplays maybe half the time. Currently I'm in, roughly, about five or six roleplays, but I've roleplayed about forty times... seriously. I tried to extend posts as much a possible, but sometimes they may fall short to between 90-120 words.
Example RP Post: The dark gray clouds rumbled angrily. A storm was brewing, casting shadows over the pine trees. Slowly a slim form padded through the trees, warily glancing upwards every five or ten minutes. The shifting wall of black clouds were beginning to move, drifting above the green needle trees. The animal's thud of pawsteps aganist the ground began to quicken, until she was running steadily across the snow-covered forest floor. Another thunder boomed, accompanied with a start of white jagged lines. Then the rain began to fall, pattering down. It splashed as it hit the snow, leaving wet droplets everywhere. It soaked the creature's fur. Another crack of lightning lit the sky, and Frostflame winced. A unsettling cold began to seep into her, and she dashed forward.
I need shelter The Clouded Leopard thought, dodging underneath a low-growing branch.
A shriek sounded from a berry bush beside her. Don't stop to look! Frostflame told herself, as natural curiousty awoke inside of her. Instead, the she-cat kept darting forward. Eventually she reached two pines trees that had crashed together to form a small space gaurded by a tangle of roots and rock.
Easily the small cat dodged inide, the brown roots raking her fur and rock digging into her sides. At last she arrived in a small space where only a few drops of water trickled into her fur. With a sigh, the leopard tumbled to the ground in exhaustion. Closing her eyes, she rested her long tail on her nose and began to fall asleep.
