Tsazoas stalked into the territory. He had been too slow and another beast had claimed the land. He was wanting it as his own, but since it was a female he still had a chance. He could easily overpower any female, just for the sheer fact of his size. He was a member of the largest species of lion, he was almost 600 pounds and he was 11 feet long. He knew that the female was an ocelot and rather small. He let out a loud roar to call his 'leader'. He would challenge her for leader position.

A shudder went down Tivona's spine at the roar. She considered running but sort of leader was she to turn down a challenge? She stalked in the direction that she scented the beast. Her eyes narrowed upon his sight. "What buisness do you have in my territory?" her voice was firm and low. Her claws kneaded the ground in anxiety. "Shouldn't you be looking for open lands, as most lions would?"

Tsazoas scented another feline approaching and soon saw the small feminine figure. He had to give her props, she was brave for her size. "Tsk, tsk. No need to get worked up. I won't make you give up your leader position if you give the other leader position to me. And if you don't want to give it to me, who cares, I'll take it anyway. This is your only chance to keep some power over the land. I am much larger than you and I wouldn't want you to get hurt." Tsazoas yawned and lay on the ground. He wasn't scared of her so he took a non-defensive position and waited for her response.

Tivona considered what the tom suggested before answering. "My answer is to give you the male leader posistion, as long as you realize one thing." she lower her voice into a firm tone. "I do not give you the posistion for fear of my life, because what kind of leader would I be if I did? I give it to you because it is best for the herd. The herd needs a male leader in order to be all the more successful. My heart does not get won easily so I don't beleive the posistion will be taken by someone I would be proud to call my mate." She looked the male up and down. "You seem a fine specimen, one to do the Herd good. But either you accept the fact that you don't intimidate me, or we shall fight. I must warn you," she paused, "size is not everything in a fight. Intelligence and agility are two factors that are slightly more important. I know you are probably a smart young lion, but I do know lions are not known for being graceful." She paused, waiting for the responce.

Tsazoas smirked at his now co-leader. "I accept the leader position and shall protect all who reside in this land, including you. I shall not let any intruders into this land if they have bad intentions. I accept that I do not intimidate you for I do not wish to harm a lady. I do not belive in fighting ladies." He stood and did a sort of 'bow' as a sign of respect. "I do not beleive I cought your name. I am Tsazoas. May I ask your name, m'lady?" She smiled at her.

Tivona was slightly charmed by the males respectful nature, although she held her firm stare. She dipped her head, just as he had done. "I am Tivona. It a great pleasure to meet you Mr. Tsazoas." Her voice was deep, not very feminine. But, it held respect for the male. Unlike most large predators, he did not expect total leadership; he was willing to share his glory with her. "And I do apreciate your willingly allowing to be a co-leader. Many creatures I know would take advantage of my small size and try to overthrow me." Her eyes held a friendly manner, no longer defensive.
